Stoke pilgrimage

It’s always nice to come to Stoke on Trent to pick up raw materials for the pottery but even more of a pleasure to see the palette of colours when you have fresh ideas for future projects. Sometimes new ideas arrive when making these visits to the potteries.  Today is no different and will be looking at samples of engobes for producing plates with Llanwddyn Island scenes taken from my photo images a few years ago.  I now own a celtic font to use in their production.  The beautiful carved gates on the island are such a wonderful feature and if given the chance when on Ynys Mon you must pay a visit to this spiritual place.
